OFFICIAL NOTICE OF EXCLUSIVE DIGITAL BROADCASTING AND DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS
MARAYA – Syrian Television Series
This notice is published to formally confirm the acquisition and licensing of exclusive digital broadcasting, distribution, publication, and exploitation rights relating to the Syrian television series “Maraya” (مرايا), with respect to the seasons, episodes, and audiovisual materials specifically covered by the executed rights agreements with their respective lawful producers and/or copyright owners.
Effective Date: 1 September 2026
Rights Term: Twenty (20) Years
Contractual Period: 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2046, subject to the terms of the applicable agreements.
The rights have been acquired directly from the relevant production companies and/or lawful rights holders pursuant to duly executed licensing and rights agreements.
Subject to the precise scope of each underlying agreement, the acquired rights include exclusive rights for digital publication, broadcasting, distribution, commercial exploitation, and monetization through online and social-media platforms, including YouTube and other applicable digital platforms.
Where expressly granted by the applicable agreement, these rights may also include the authority to administer and protect the licensed audiovisual content, submit copyright-related notices or claims, and take appropriate measures against unauthorized digital use of the licensed material.
INCLUDED MUSIC AND AUDIO RIGHTS
To the extent expressly granted under the applicable rights agreements, these rights also include the authorized use and exploitation, as incorporated within the licensed audiovisual works, of the musical and audio elements contained in those works.
This includes, where applicable:
• Opening and title-theme music
• Closing and end-credit music
• Background and incidental music
• Songs and musical performances appearing within episodes
• Soundtracks and other musical or audio elements incorporated into the licensed audiovisual works
Accordingly, the presence of such music or audio within an authorized episode or audiovisual work does not, by itself, indicate unauthorized use by our channels. Our exploitation of such incorporated elements is conducted pursuant to the rights granted under the applicable agreements with the relevant producers and/or rights holders.
Rights Verification
All rights claimed by us are based upon written agreements and supporting documentation establishing the applicable chain of title and/or authorization from the relevant rights holders.
Upon a legitimate request from YouTube, another digital platform, a court, legal authority, or an authorized party involved in a copyright dispute, relevant contractual documentation may be provided as appropriate to substantiate the scope, territory, duration, and exclusivity of the applicable rights.
This public notice is intended to provide general information regarding our licensed rights. The executed agreements and their specific terms remain the controlling legal instruments in determining the precise scope of those rights.
